The World Architecture Festival is being held this week in Singapore. With over 2,000 architects, designers and clients sharing and awarding the world's most innovative structures, it is the largest event of its kind. The theme "Architects in the City" will be explored throughout the festival with the focus being on the affects of politics, infrastructure and technology on each architects work.

The winners with completed buildings will go on to compete for the World Building of the Year prize on Friday, while building concepts will compete for the Future Project of the Year Award.
