During Sunday's presentation at MILK, CFDA-winning duo Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, debuted their first complete women's wear collection. The designers behind Public School, dabbled in women's last season, but this presentation garnered more looks for the ladies than the men. Chow and Osborne have mastered their tailored menswear pieces, perfectly blurring the line between streetwear and workwear. That aesthetic, which has gained the support of Anna Wintour, has transitioned flawlessly to their women's spring/summer collection.
The spring garments embodied Public School's sporty and timeless silhouettes. The pieces featured graphic knits, asymmetrical dresses, pleated skirts and outerwear, all sticking to the dominate palette of the brand, black and white. With the menswear trend taking over the runways, the New York-based brand couldn't have chosen a better time to extend their line to women.
