Jaime Hayon began designing for BD Barcelona in 2006, with the debut of his Showtime collection. After much success, BD introduced the Lounger designed by Hayon in 2009. Now five years later, a lower version of the piece is available. The Low Lounger has the same distinct design elements as it's predecessor, but features a lower backrest. The style is available in a swivel or four-leg base, each available in different finishes.

The Spanish designer is the founder of the Hayon Studio in Spain. He has won several awards including "Best Designer" for ELLE Deco Japan and "Best International Designer" for Elle Deco Germany. He was also listed as one of Time's 100 most relevant creators of our time.
