Art Basel Miami Beach: Louis Vuitton Presents Art.sy Beachside Barbecue

Recently this week saw the beachside tent at Soho Beach House coming to life as Louis Vuitton laid on an intimate, beachside barbecue for Art.sy. Hosted by Carter Cleveland, Wendi Murdoch and Dasha Zhukova, the party is in celebration of Art.sy’s gallery, museum and content partners. Vladimir Karaleev Spring/Summer 2012

Vladimir Karaleev is a talented designer. He creates lines for both men and women and his work is heavily influenced by contemporary art. Vladimir studied fashion in Berlin, Germany at the age of 19 at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW). His experiences in Berlin and his connection with the arts community have no doubt inspired his technique and style as a designer.

Vladimir doesn’t take a conventional or traditional approach when creating his exclusive looks. He cuts fabric with shapely yet shapeless silhouettes that drape over the body in such a flattering way.

His attention to detail creates effortlessly beautiful garments. Vladimir’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection showcases his unconventional techniques and truly original designs.

ISSEVER BAHRI Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

ISSEVER BAHRI’s focuses on classic craftsmanship and modern design; merging these two ideas is what gives ISSEVER BAHRI its innovative and distinctive look.
ISSEVER BAHRI is based in Berlin, Germany and was founded in 2010. The founders are Derya Issever and Cimen Bachri. Derya and Cimen are graduates of the University of Applied Sciences, HTW, in Berlin. Both Cimen and Derya have worked for several labels throughout Berlin and London, such as Michael Michalsky, Alexander McQueen and Harriet’s Muse. Their home countries, Greece and Turkey, also inspire them; this inspiration has a large impact on their design techniques and aesthetics.

ISSEVER BAHRI’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection is a strong testament to their experimental and eclectic designs.
